This does make sense for multiwindow features, but not for 4.1.2. We should receive the 4.1.2 update regardless of multiwindow. http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/03/04/verizon-pr

Knowing AT&T we will not get Multi View 4.1.2 until SUMMER or maybe never 4.2. Why we stay with them???

Dans07SGT Verizon just got the 4.1.2 update today. AT&T is dragging their heels.
(you ninja posted before me haha)
It may not be a HUGE update, but still a nice one, adds a few nice/cool features. I think the fact that they even put out the update is encouraging.

That is a bunch of crap. I have a galxy s3 and it is on att. I assure you that it does run just fine on 4.1.2 with multiwindow.

There is little benefit to ATT to upgrade the OS on the phone. Most people dont care if its 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 and most people dont upgrade. Also, doing an upgrade does cost money (to test) and then they get all the calls from end users who have issues after updating.
