SWBELL.NET EMAIL

A couple of us are having problems setting up swbell.net or att.net email. We both prefer POP mail, not IMAP.

The settings suggested on AT&T help pages at http://tinyurl.com/ydfzv75 are:

     inbound.att.net:995, SSL

     outbound.att.net:465, SSL

The phone will not connect to those addresses.

The default settings in the Atrix 2 if I set up a new swbell.net account are:

     moto-android.pop.mail.yahoo.com:995, auto

     moto-android.smtp:465, auto

Those don't work either. The error message is:

[Host is unresolved: moto-android.pop.mail.yahoo.com]

Has AT&T sold us phones that cannot check AT&T POP3 email? This topic is also under discussion in the Motorola Atrix 2 forum at https://forums.motorola.com/posts/ce69f6a97e.

Thank you.
