SIM CARD

I have a AT&T Phoenix phone that no longer has service.  Can I switch out the SIM and put in a pre-paid and be able to use the phone through the pre-paid service?  If so, is there a certain pre-paid carrier I should go with?

Yes. It must be a GSM Carrier, like Tmobile, or a reseller of Tmobile or AT&T. There may be others, Also, you will need to have AT&T unlock your phone if it is one of theirs. As far as who to choose, it depends on coverage, and price. Here is a starting point to look at. Just remember your phone is GSM, so no Verizon, or Sprint.
