Is there away to make songs that are in my ipod folder my ringtones?

I use one called ringtone designer by blackout labs. You launch the app, take a song from your library in itunes, then create the tone with the part of the song you want. You then have to sync the phone with your computer and sync the file you created as a ringtone. It was 0.99 for 30 second tones. they had a free one but that only let you make 15 second tones.

search the forums for similar topics that will have a list of programs to help you out. iRinger and Grageband if you are a Mac user can do the trick. There are lots of others listed here.

even iTunes can make ringtones (for free)

 

The important thing is, you have to have the ringtone file on your desktop machine that runs itunes, and you have to use sync to get it onto the iPhone
