i have bbm torch 9810, had been suffering from unexplained data usage for the past couple of months, called ATT few times, they offered refund but no solution, most of them were saying it is legit data use... until recently,  i went to att and one of the guys there suggested i perform software upgrade, i did it two days ago and i haven't experienced any large chunk of data being used since then... i hope this solved my problem, i cannot judge now... i will keep u guys posted
