Problems using Fast Card (fastcard) Prepaid cards, trouble redeeming.

Problems using Fast Card (fastcard) Prepaid cards, trouble redeeming.

to start i'm very frustrated right now, (everyone can relate when i say that its very frustrating when you try to work with automated interactive voice recordings)

I've had my phone for a little over a year and a half now, i've used prepaid phones, i'm not very rookie with these types of things.

Some prepaid cards were gifted to me over thanksgiving from dad, and i was of course Very excited seeing as to how i would not have to pay for $100 of my phone use. PROBLEM: He, being a very busy man and not communicating very often with me (or at least when we do, we dont chat about call phone service) got me Fastcard preparid universal cards, knowing that i had a prepaid phone but not knowing of which prepaid service i had.

I commend him on his choice, it was a very logical decision made on his part. (if he had gotten me the wrong thye would be completely useless to me, and he's overseas for the next two years and i have no communication with him so this was a good decision)

(i apologize for rambling)

So: Using my Fastcard prepaid cards.

Directions on card:
1) have your wireless phone available
2) Dial 1-800-698-3430
3) Enter Fastcard number when prompted (scratch off grey box)
4) Follow voice prompts. Instructions will vary by carrier.

I followed everything very fluently, telling it exactly what it needed to know. I verified my cell phone number and pin number i was using, everything going smoothly. It asked me what my carrier was, and I pressed (4) to get the at&t go phone service. then "press one to redeem this pin number, press two to hear information about the gophone service and rates/conditions/etc." I pressed one, completely certain that all numbers having been previously entered where indeed the correct numbers. and I got in response. "We're sorry, the pin number you have entered is 'not correct'".

???? and then it disconnects.

Its gotten to the point that i've spent almost $5.00 trying to add this to my phone. (We dont have a house phone, so i have to use my cell)

i dont even know what to say at this point. I feel like i'm making some sort of huge stupid mistake but I dont even care. Humiliate me. just please tell me how to get this to work.

Easiest way is to dial right from your phone *888*pin#send

That was add fastcards

Re: Problems using Fast Card (fastcard) Prepaid cards, trouble redeeming.

Ok, I am having a problem with a Fastcard also. I recently switched to AT&T Go Phone from another pre paid carrier. This is the first time i have had to buy a card and add the time to my phone. I tried the 352-4071 number. Well, the problem seems to be that when I tried to scratch off the grey box for the pin number, I must have accidently scratched to far and scratched the number off if that's possible. There is no number there and I can't scratch anything else off. In lew of having to go and spend money on another card right away, is there any ideas or suggestions that I can try. This is a saturday night and I tried calling 611, not realizing there wasn't anyone there saturday night or Sunday. Any help would be appreciated. \
I am getting down to just under 8 minutes on my phone and I want to get the time added before I run out of minutes. There is a 10 digit number clear at the bottom of the card near the right hand corner under the black strip thinking that just maybe that was the pin number. When I called 352-4071, I tried using that number but it wouldn't take. Thanks again for any help anyone can give me.

If you go through their automated system and enter the pincard number in twice and it errors out both times, you will then have the option to speak to a live rep in their customer care department.

I was able to get the problem solved. I called 611 Monday afternoon and talked to a rep and she said I would have to exchange the card. I went to the store I got the card at and was able to exchange it. Thanks for the help with this anyway.

Re: Problems using Fast Card (fastcard) Prepaid cards, trouble redeeming.

Hey everyone!

I’ve noticed this thread has a lot of views, and I just wanted to give some updated information regarding Fast Card!

At this time, Fast Card are no longer supported through AT&T.

Fast Card used to be a refill card you could purchase for any pre-paid cell phone service. We have since moved away from this type of refill, and instead have the option of GoPhone refill cards or using your own debit/credit card. This streamlines the process and allows you the opportunity to directly add a balance to your account. You can purchase refill cards at any AT&T Store as well as many major retailers.

I hope this clears up any confusion!
