Problems to activate my SIM Card abroad


I've bought a SIM Card by mail to use in USA in July, during my trip. I live in Brazil.

I've activated it by AT&T site but a password was sent via SMS to the phone number supplied during the registration. Of course I cannot have access to it because the phone has no signal here (and also because I could not add some money to it).

I must to add money to it within 26 days or my account will be desactivated but to do it I need this password.

Does anybody know how to proceed, please? Or may I in July, when arriving, even after the expiration period, proceed a new registration with this SIM Card or it will be easy to buy a new one?

With your phone being out of reach, I would be amazed if it was ever activated.

You'll have to wait until you get into the US to activate the phone. You will need to get a new SIM card though, since the one you have will be expired.
