Mobile Protection Pack/Mobile Insurance/Enhanced Support/Mobile Locate

AT&T Mobile Protection Pack combines Mobile Insurance, Enhanced Support and Mobile Locate at one great, low price of $9.99 per month on eligible devices.  Mobile Insurance and Enhanced Support can be sold as standalone features but the only way for a customer to get Mobile Locate is as a part of the Mobile Protection Pack.


Mobile Insurance (Formerly Wireless Phone Insurance) offers replacement for approved claims involving loss, theft, accidental damage, liquid damage, or mechanical & electrical failure after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.  A non-refundable deductible of either $50 or $125 applies per approved claim depending upon the device. The standalone price is $4.99/month.


Enhanced Support (Formerly Quick Start with Support) offers live support (via phone or chat) for “set up”, “how to” and “on-going troubleshooting” of your device. (Mobile Protection Pack bundled price $5.00/month and standalone price $9.00/month).


Mobile Locate is a downloadable application that gives a subscriber the ability to remotely locate, lock or set an alarm on their compatible phone via a website in the event it is lost or stolen provided the phone is powered on, has text messaging capability and is in an AT&T coverage area.   Even if the phone is powered off the customer can view the last 5 locations (for when its power was on) of the phone on-line.  Mobile Locate is only available as part of the Mobile Protection Pack and cannot be purchased as a standalone feature.  Not all phones are compatible with Mobile Locate or its features.  A customer may still purchase the Mobile Protection Pack if their phone is not Mobile Locate compatible
