Is my phone stolen?

Up until a couple days ago I had a Samsung Jack, for those of you who don't know what it is; it is a blackberryish Windows Mobile device. My Samsung Jack would sometimes not send/receive text messages unless I restarted the phone. Upon doing so I would get a flood of texts. Even when I sent them and the other person did not receive them, it would fail to notify me that my text messages did not get sent.

I recently got a used Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrockey online. At first, pictures wouldn't send. Then I stopped being able to receive calls. Now I can't send text messages or use data EVEN WITH WIFI ON. I thought it had to be reported stolen and disabled. However, I can still make calls and if I put my sim card back into my Samsung Jack it will not send texts either. Thoughts?

Are you using the same SIM card you had in the Samsung Jack before in the Skyrocket? If so, it's possible that the SIM card could be defective. You can get a new SIM card free of charge at a AT&T corporate store. Smiley Happy
