Iphone 4 antenna issue fixed

Ok, so I'm too lazy to search the threads.  Can anyone tell me if the Iphone 4 antenna issue has been fixed?  I'm looking to upgrade, so I want to make sure it is before I do.  Thanks.

Sadly un/misinformed.

The problem is *electrical bridging* or taking two seperate conductors and joining them into (effectively) one without directly connecting the two original conductors.

Re: Iphone 4 antenna issue fixed

I've had my iPhone 4 since the end of July, and it never had the antenna issue, with a case or without. Not saying here that it isn't a real problem for some, just that I haven't experienced it with mine.

Re: Iphone 4 antenna issue fixed

I can put my iphone 4 on the counter in my kitchen and it shows a -87 on field test or 4 bars. If I pick it up and set it on my lap or hold it it drops to a -104 on field test or 1 bar.

Very irritating. My hopes is I can trade early when a new model come out.

No Verizon for me though, I will stick woth ATT

However, at work I have 4 bars (-84) at work. I clamp, hold and double hold the phone and it stays at (-84).
