Intermittent wireless after uninstalling communication manager
I installed communication manager (a recent version, not sure exactly which one) to check out tethering to my Blackberry Curve. I played with the software briefly and decided to uninstall it, because i didn't like the way it took over my wi-fi connection - and i didn't have a tethering plan and probably wasn't going to get one. Anyway, after uninstalling, through add/remove programs in Windows XP SP2, my wi-fi will intermittently cut out. I've tried removing and reinstalling the device (intel pro/wireless 2100) and it's current and older drivers. I've reinstalled SP2, upgraded to SP3...all to no avail. This is on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-73. I suspect a file or two possibly didn't get properly uninstalled.
