Has anyone tried to cancel with AT&T, but they refuse to cancel your account.

Has anyone tried to cancel with AT&T, but they refuse to cancel your account.

I canceled my account in July of this year, and they continue sending me bills.  The bills are higher and higher as if I am still using the phones.
The bill has gone from $328 in July to over $1000 now...does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,

The bill will state exactly what the charges are for. Are they for termination fees? Did you pay the final bill? Are they adding late charges? Without seeing the bill, no one here can help, and this is a customer helping customer forum.
Call customer service and see what can be done.

It sounds like they might be from cancellation fees and existing balances compounded by late fees. Would you please send me a private message with your name, account number, phone number and the best time to contact you? I'll ask a member of our team to contact you to review your account and billing with you.
