Hard of Hearing

I have recently been told that I need hearing aids in both ears.  It is driving me CRAZY with the cell phone -- I use the iPhone4 - from what I can read online the phone is NOT compatible with hearing aids.  Am I still bound by my contract before I can look (or listen) on other phones?

Re: Hard of Hearing

Sorry to hear that.   Check out this article from Apple's site that describes hearing aids that are compatible with the iPhones: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4526  Reading this leads me to believe you should be able to find some combination that works.

If you do need a new phone, there should be models that you can buy outright for a reasonable price.  You may find you are eligble for an early upgrade price that is at least better than paying full price.

Good Luck!

Re: Hard of Hearing

If convenient, there may be a speakerphone feature on iPhone, you would just lower the volume of the sound.
