Found iphone AT&T 3G

I found an iphone 3G this weekend in Santa Barbara. I was metal detecting on the beach and found it buried in the sand.

I just figured out how to charge it and it is in good condition. It has a password lock and somebody tried to call it and text. I tried returning the call but no luck, maybe the 416 area code did not go through.

I am willing to return it to the proper owner.

Thanks for doing this - you definitely did the right thing. Different from the selfish "losers" who find stray iPhones wherever they go and think that they can keep them and use on an AT&T plan - who also have no intended right of returning it to the original owner.

The 416 area code is for Toronto Canada. If you take the sim card out what carrier is stamped on it?
