Deleting Photo Albums from Iphone 3G
Edited by ecugolf33 on Dec 8, 2009 at 6:30:18 AM
i have 3 photo albums on my iPhone 3G.  the photo sync option is not active in my iTunes.  i can do the mass delete for photos that appear in the Camera Roll album (can share, copy or delete).  that option is not available in the other 2 albums (can only share or copy).  is there a way to delete both albums all together?

The camera roll and photo library are separate features. For the camera roll you can delete just taken pictures. However the photo library, you can not delete the photos from the iPhone. You have to manage your photos from your synchronized machine. This ensures not accidentally deleting the photos you want to keep.

You can manage the photos on a separate application which allows you to edit the photos such as cropping and rotating even adding borders. However most of them do not have the option to delete photos.

Having to use Itunes for everything is a real pain. As soon as my contract is over I am going "Android".

Nothing to stop you from switching now.  Contract is tied to voice service, not the device.
