Bought my iPhone 4 in July 2010 - no upgrade until March?
Edited by polarscribe on Oct 5, 2011 at 8:45:27 AM

I'm not the earliest of early adopters, but my contract started July 7, 2010 - and the Web site says I can't upgrade until March??? I have a single iPhone 4 with total spend around $1,500 over that time.

It really would be cheaper to just eat the ETF and start a new contract.

If you cancel, you are not eligible to be a new customer for approximately 6 months.  You can add a second line or pay the early upgrade fee of $250 on top of the base upgrade price.  You would most likely also loose your original number

There are wireless companies not named AT&T which would be happy to take my money.

You need to make your own decisions and do what is best for you given each carriers terms and conditions.  There is no wrong decision in this decision for you and what you want to spend.
