App on Torch 9800

Contributor App on Torch 9800

I have a Torch 9800 and am trying to run an app, Mobile Authenticator. When I start the app it begins an initialization process which returns an error:

"Check The reception in your area. If you have a signal, the server may be temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

I submitted this to the app support and to my service provider support as well. So I am trying the consumer forum here as well, any ideas?
