Battery life on HTC Inspire.

The more I learn about my HTC Inspire, the more I like it.

The only possible characteristic that I feel a little let down on is the rather limited battery life.

So far, I have reduced the screen brightness to about 50 %, and unchecked "Network Notification" and "Bluetooth".

Are there other things that can be done to slow the battery discharge ?

Thanks,

Hanagan

Uncheck "always-on data", "background data", "auto-sync", "use wireless networks", "GPS satellites".

Change screen timeout, disable onscreen animations and vibrate feedback.

Within indoor situations I can get away with 0% or 15% brightness level on my similar HTC phone. I use this application to control my levels. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.angrydoughnuts.android.brightprof

Leaving the GPS on doesn't drain the battery except for when the phone is actively using GPS.
Probably from mobile, maybe. Smiley Happy

La-La,

Thanks for the information.  I was able to find everything you mentioned,  with one exception.  Where can I find "always-on data" ?

Settings > Wireless & networks > mobile networks > enable always-on mobile data and uncheck it
