AT&T iPhone 4 Work in Canada ?

Hi,

 

I'm a Canadian resident, I bought an AT&T iPhone from eBay.

 

After first time setup on iPhone, My iPhone connected to TELUS network, (Wich is starting to be weird).

 

After that, I check how many MINs are in account, It tell me 700 + Unlimited SMS/MMS ( I didn't pay anything ).

 

I can use the phone aswell and ...

 

Now I need to register my phone online but it doesn't allow me to since it ask for a zip code... (How could I know it)

 

Remember that this phone has never been activated and it's brand new.

 

How could I register it online to see balance?

Not sure what you are seeing but ATT iphones are locked to the ATT network and cannot be unlocked unless you are or have been an att customer.  REach out to the seller and see if they will contact ATT to get your iPhone unlocked otherwise you have a nice iPod.

 

YOu may very well be using the sellers account if you did not change the  SIM or activated the phone on your name with ATT and you are seeing your plan, your usage and your roaming, etc....  this is probably not what you want!

There is an AT&T Sim Card on the iPhone!

 

But it's connected to Telus Network, I have a US Number and IT'S LOCKED & SEALED.

 

The phone is brand new, I got the first time activation...

Ah!  You are roaming then and not using your plans minutes or data.  You are paying per minute for voice at roaming rates and you are paying per MB or GB for data roaming.  That will be a very expensive bill!  You need to cancel your plan and get a phone that works in Canada on your network.  

 

Since your iPhone was bought second hand, you are probably not eligible to have it unlocked so you should either return the iPhone to the seller if they represented the phone as being unlocked or sell it yourself.

Ah!  You are roaming then and not using your plans minutes or data.  You are paying per minute for voice at roaming rates and you are paying per MB or GB for data roaming.  That will be a very expensive bill!  You need to cancel your plan and get a phone that works in Canada on your network.

I think what happened is that you bought the phone from an AT&T customer who doesn't realize that when they bought the phone, it would automatically register to their number when it was first turned on. You're probably using the seller's number, and their phone is now not working. You need to contact the seller and let them know or you'll be racking up roaming charges on their acocunt.
