$25 media hub voucher for GSII

[ Edited ]

Just a reminder to those like myself who typically leave the paperwork in the box. There's a $25 media hub voucher good for buying various tv shows and movies on the Samsung Media Hub app, many of which you own forever.  It's a free credit and it expires 1/1/2012.

Sorry all, it's only good towards TV shows... not movies.  My mistake. Smiley Sad

Really? When I got it for the Infuse (now things could have changed by now) it was for anything. I bought a movie, rented a movie.

My failure is that I forgot about the expiration so I didn't get a chance to use it all!

Bottom line, take advantage of it, no matter how you can use it, you have nothign to lose and the shows look fantastic on the screens.

That's odd. I noticed on the card it was only valid for TV programs, but if you go to the link on the card with the details it says this:

To utilize the Media Hub credit, the following shall apply:

  1. The Media Hub credit may only be used to purchase or rent movies through Samsung Media Hub. Media Hub credit applies to all movie titles except as provided below.
  2. Currently, all movie titles may be purchased or rented using the Media Hub credit. Samsung, through Media Hub, will have sole discretion as to the current list of movies which may be selected and may revise this list at its sole discretion and without notice.
  3. The Media Hub credit is initiated by entering the Movie Activation Code, listed on the coupon included in the Galaxy S II box. The Movie Activation Code may only be used once for the Qualifying Device (i.e., the Movie Activation Code may not be used to receive multiple Media Hub credits) and is not valid for any other device.
  4. If the balance of the Media Hub credit is insufficient to purchase or rent a particular movie, you must select a different listed movie or combine the remaining Media Hub credit balance with an additional form of payment (which you have set up on your account) for the difference.
  5. The Media Hub credit must be used within 60 days of entering the Movie Activation Code. After that period of time, the remaining balance of the Media Hub credit is void and cannot be utilized.
  6. The Movie Activation Code expires 12/31/12 and thereafter is void and cannot be utilized.
  7. Movies may only be purchased or rented if you are in the 50 U.S. States or Puerto Rico at the time of purchase or rental.

Yeah I saw that as well.  It is indeed odd.  I assume they have other codes bundled with other products that maybe allow for the movies.  I'm finding it tough to spend this $25 as it is... lol
