calendar,emails, sms, contacts disappeared from Windows HTC 8x phone suddenly
at noon yesterday, suddenly all contacts, sms, emails and calendar info was erased from my windows htc8 phone. Photos undisturbed by selective wipe. Sd card also wiped. In settings, the backup sms cannot be engaged. How to restore internal information? Thanks

I am sorry to hear about losing your data, I would be glad to help prevent this from happening or retrieve any of your content!
This issue comes across very strange to me. Having your software up to date will ensure your device is running optimally all around so I would definitely recommend checking for any updates first. This is under Settings > About device > Check for software updates.
If you previously stored your contacts to your SIM card, they could be stored there too. This is under Contacts > Menu icon > Manage contacts > Import/Export contacts. This would be a reliable place to store them if you’d like!
We also have a free app called AT&T Locker and allows you to backup Photos, Videos, Contacts, Documents and other files up to 50GB. Your content can be automatically backed up and it’ll be available from any device or computer!
