By reset, he meant you have to hard reset/format the phone in order for the new SD card to be recognized. You will lose everything on your phone during the hardreset. Make sure you backup your stuff before doing this. After doing this, your card will be 'married' to the phone. You can't take the card out without doing another hard reset. And your card will no longer be usable at any other devices unless you have a Nokia phone around to format it (the only device so far that can format the SD cards come out of Focus). So, before you waste your expensive 32GB microSD card, do some research. The verdict on stability of 32GB card is still out there.

Did you just put it in and turn on the phone?

Or did you put it in and then reset the phone?

It is hit and miss on any sd card right now. Have been running a Kingston 32GB Class 4 since the phone was released, have 24GB stored on the phone in video and music. The phone gets turned off frequently when I travel on the airlines and it is still working. I broken down and installed the new updates over this past weekend and they went fine.
