Nokia Lumia 520 Go Phone Question!

I decided that I am getting a friend a Nokia Lumia 520 for Christmas, the only problem is that they dont have a data plan, and right now they are using a non-smartphone Go phone and they just put there sim card in it so they dont have to be buying cards every month. Since they are doing that and they have there own sim cards, if i bought them a data card would they be able to use it since they are using a SIM card from there phone plan or no? Sorry if this question is confusing, but thanks for any help you can provide!

Hello @Chris_Halloran

In case you still need some information, yes, they can use their existing account and phone number, however they might need a new SIM card, just because it's most likely a different size in the newer phone. Any corporate AT&T store can give them one for free. As far as data cards go, you can definitely give them one to try it out, they'll have no issues with using it on their line.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Dmitriy
