I have an LG Quantum. I am unable to download google maps onto it. Do you know when this app will become available for Windows 7? Is there something else I can try. I mostly use it for directions by public transportation. Thanks!

The only thing i was able to find on googles site is to try going to m.google.com/maps on your browser. I havent tried it myself as I have no need for the maps app. If the software is compatable you should be able to install it this way.

Thank you! I've tried that, but it states "Sorry, the Google Maps application is not supported on your CX900B. However, you can try installing the J2ME version..." When I try to do that it says "Can't download file! Windows Phone doesn't support .jad files." Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I just tried the "Pulic Transit" app. Leads you to believe that it is using Google Transit to get the results. The Full Browser version give the correct results; the Public Transit app gives totally bogus results.. Looks like this could be my first "Real Windows App"..
From looking at Public Transit, it would probably take 10 minutes for the bubba to fix it.. -- the app is not making the query into Google Maps with the public transit attribute set..--- that's just dumb...

The app does redirect to google maps with the proper transit attribute set. You're not getting exactly the same results as the full version because that is how google has chosen to implement their mobile site. The mobile results, for example, are usually not relative to your location. Google's fault, not the app's.
