Samsung watch rose gold

I took my watch off the charger today to take it to work and within 2.5 hours it was dead. It's not even allowing me to get my messages and i only get them if I turn my phone off and turn it back on. This watch is literally brand new this is my first day with it and I'm already ready to return it. Has anyone else had similar issues?
