Thank you for reaching out to the community forums! I would be happy to provide you with the answer to your concern. In order for the Gear S2 to work properly it would need to be connected to a postpaid account. Prepaid accounts are not able to support HD Voice / LTE Service for a smartwatch.
However, you are able to connect your Gear S2 via Bluetooth if you would prefer.
