Wireless TV Receiver Poor Signal

Hello! I have a wireless tv receiver that has poor signal (red 2 bars). I can't move my WAP any closer to the wireless tv receiver. How can I boost the signal?? If I can get 3 green bars GREAT!

Re: Wireless TV Receiver Poor Signal

Move the WAP or move the receiver or remove the obstacles that are dropping the signal.

Besides distance limitation, the more objects the signal has to go thru and the denser the material will reduce the signal strength.

May need to purchase a 25 feet or 50 feet Ethernet cable to extend distance from gateway to WAP.

Another option is to hardwire (ethernet) the receiver to the gateway so no longer wireless.
