Suppose the powers that be are too busy trying to gobble up Time Warner than to worry about paying customers.

I find it even more ridiculous that on the right side of this page, under "U-Verse Hot Topics," there is a link to Stream TV to your PC.
Unbelievable.
I have posted in another thread of things I have tolerated from ATT. One of which was the random restarts of my gateway/ modem. Well, it freaking happened while browsing this thread!
Spectrum knocked on my door today. I have kept their offer.

What with the number of people cutting the cord and abandoning services like U-Verse and Directv one would think they would do everything possible to retain their customers. At least one would think. The decision to eliminate the online guide and DVR access through a PC would seem rather counter productive to that end. The guide used to be accessible through yahoo.com but I guess since yahoo isn't capable of keeping user accounts secure they don' have the expertise or know how to have that program run on a PC. Rather than fixing it, they just eliminate it. I guess I'm another cord cutter in the making.

Does anyone have a phone #, email or snail mail address of someone high up that can make the change back? If they put it here then all of us could voice our gripes to them instead of just posting of a customer forum that no one probably reads.

As if your service wasn't horrible enough for the prices ppl pay. Now this??? Seriously considering having them come get all their crap out of my house and switching to Sling TV for less than half the price and still get my shows. I hate their cell phone service and their cable service. Their internet is also crap. Was already teetering on the edge about whether to stay or go but this definitely made my decision to leave a LOT easier.

Absolutely inconceivable. A "tech company" that can't do "tech".
The decision to ONLY support a mobile app has alienated a LOT of people like me who watch TV on one monitor while working on another. Or maybe I don't want to buy another tv ... I just want to watch my DVR while I am away from my TV. I mean, cmon guys, even Comcast ... COMCAST ... can do this. Wow ... I am just blown away at such poor judgement and inability to read the customer base. Mobile is cool, yes, but who wants to want TV on their phone? I don't. Never have. Never will. I want a large screen and I sure don't want to buy another tablet/device. Really bad. A total and complete FAIL. Sad.

What a terrible decision. AT&T Cares? Cares about what? This guide is something a lot of people, including myself used. It was easier to use than doing it on the tv. And to even find answers to "where is the guide", took me about an hour or so of navigating. Whoever your webdesigner is should be fired. Whenever we attempted to access the guide, there should have been a link to direct us to the community forum, or at least a message to say the guide was no longer on line. As a retiree, I am saddened as to what my company has become. AT&T should start listening to their customers or they will lose more of them than they already have. I have heard AT&T wants to get rid of supporting uVerse and is directing their focus on Direct TV. Too bad it is not a very good product. Shame on you AT&T.

@gavi6004 Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to record your shows from the website provided, not to worry though. I have found that we have switched this feature to the UVerse App. You will be able to set recordings and monitor whats already recorded or what is scheduled to record.
This link here has all the steps to get this set up so you can begin utilizing this feature straight from your smartphone. https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/u-verse-tv/KM1009834
Thank you for your time and cooperation,

The reality of the day is the entire uverse.com domain is no more.
An alternative to just the guide part is using a service such as titantv.com
