Supported browsers for watching U-verse on Windows 10

Installing Chrome is not an option on our Windows computers. What alternative is there to watch U-verse on a Windows PC? I tried from both Edge and Firefox (along with Opera are the only browsers authorized on our network, Chrome is not allowed).

This is very annoying since we are paying for the privilege of watching online and don't want to be limited to an iPad.

Re: Supported browsers for watching U-verse on Windows 10

Where are you getting this Chromecast information from?  The  Uverse App does not work on PCs.  The app is compatible with:

  • iPhone®, iPad®, or iTouch® (iOS 9.3 and above)
  • Apple Watch®
  • Android® smartphones and tablets (OS 4.1 and above)
  • Android wearables (Android Wear OS)
  • Amazon Fire TV devices

Someone suggested downloading bluestacks in this thread.  And even those who have attempted to use that program have had mixed results.

Edit:  Apparently you accessed the information for new AT&T WatchTV streaming service for wireless accounts which is separate from the Uverse app.

Yeah... will confirm that after a couple of tech calls and a bunch of bull, AT&T DOES NOT OFFER U-VERSE FOR WINDOWS. PERIOD. FULL STOP. (Which was a total lie from what the sales rep said, etc.). Go to the Bluestacks thread linked above for a solution.

Shame  on you AT&T
