REMOVING CLOSED CAPTIONING FROM SCREEN
Somehow I must have hit something on the remote control and closed captioning appears on all shows.Since this has happened, the GUIDE button does not work on this tv. Any suggestions on how to remove this function from the remote ?

You can turn off thc CC with the red button if you have the latest update.
If not it is under the ENTER/Zoom button menu - bottpm right.
You can also find on/off under Menu/options. The on/offwould be the same as the red button.
If your looking for a permanent off, try the options in that screen.
