Programming notices for December 2017

Important: Chiller is going off-air at 12:01am on New Year's Day. This is for all providers.

AT&T's contracts with programmers for the content displayed on U-verse TV service periodically expire, or may be terminated, but are usually re-negotiated or extended with no interruption or change for our U-verse members. Additionally, from time to time it is necessary to change channel line-ups as well as television package contents. The programming changes set forth below may occur as follows:

 

December 2017:

 

Effective December 31, 2017, the Chiller channel (channel 153) will be discontinued by the programmer.

 

January 2018:

 

As previously noticed, AT&T's contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) in or after January 2018: Sony Entertainment Television Asia (channel 3704), GOL TV (channel 656 and 1656 in HD);

 

As well as the following local channels: 1) In Ohio, in the Toledo area, WMNT (channel 10) and WTVG (channel 13 and 1013 in HD); 2) In Kansas, in the Wichita-Hutchinson area, KAKE (channel 10 and 1010 in HD), KSCW (channel 5 and 1005 in HD), and KWCH (channel 12 and 1012 in HD); in the Topeka area, WIBW (channel 13 and 1013 in HD ), and WIBW (channel 12); 3) In Missouri, in the Springfield area, KSPR (channel 33 and 1033 in HD), KYCW (channel 15 and a015 in HD), and KYTV (channel 3 and 1003 in HD); 4) In Nevada, in the Reno area, KOLO (channel 8 and 1008 in HD); 5) In Georgia, in the Augusta area, WAGT (channel 26 and 1026 in HD), WAGT (channel 27), WRDW (channel 12 and 1012 in HD), and WRDW (channel 13); 6) In Wisconsin, in the Green Bay area, WBAY (channel 2 and 1002 in HD); in the Madison area, WMTV (channel 15 and 1015 in HD), and WMTV (channel 22 and 1022 in HD); 7) In Michigan, in the Lansing area, WILX (channel 10 and 1010 in HD), and in the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area, WJRT (channel 12 and 1012 in HD); 8) In Tennessee, in the Knoxville area, WBXX (channel 20 and 1020 in HD), WVLT (channel 8 and 1008 in HD), and WVLT (channel 21 and 1021 in HD); 9) In Indiana, in the South Bend-Elkhart area, WNDU (channel 16 and 1016 in HD); 10) In Florida, in the Gainesville area, WCJB (channel 20 and 1020 in HD); in the Panama City area, WECP (channel 18 and 1018 in HD), WECP (channel 19 and 1019 in HD), WJHG (channel 8 and 1008 in HD), and WJHG (channel 7 and 1007 in HD);

February 2018:

 

AT&T's contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) in or after February 2018: Ovation (channel 385 and 1385 in HD); Stingray Karaoke (channel 96 and 1096 in HD); Stingray Music (channel 500, 531 and 1500, 1531 in HD);

 

As well as the following local channels: 1) In Alabama, in the Montgomery-Selma area, WNCF (channel 32 and 1032 in HD); 2) In Georgia, in the Columbus area, WLTZ (channel 38, 39 and 1038, 1039 in HD); 3) In Texas, in the Corpus Christi area, KZTV (channel 10 and 1010 in HD); in the Odessa-Midland area, KWWT (channel KWWT);
