I forgot my PIN to unlock parental control
I forgot the 4 digit PIN to unlock channels. How do I reboot PIN?

The only way to reset the parental control pin is to do a "disaster recovery" of your dvr or receiver. This procedure will revert the dvr or receiver back to initial state. Thus all its settings and recordings are lost.

This Disaster Recovery procedure did not work on my receiver. AT&T had to reset it for me. I logged into my AT&T Uverse account online, and started an on-line cat. The chat tech was able to reset the PIN for me after I gave him/her the last 5 digits of the GUID on the bottom of the receiver. S/he set it to the desired PIN. Easy process.
