LIVE Player Plug-in won't install on Mac OS X 10.7.5, Safari 5.1.7

Hi!  I'm at this page:

http://uverse.com/uv/configure-live-player-plugin

I'm on Mac OS X 10.7.5 using Safari 5.1.7.   the Java box is green with a checkmark "Java Installed"

I click the "Install LIVE Player Plug-in" and nothing happens - no download, no dialog box, nothing.

how do we get this to work?

chinarut - When I click on the link you provided, I see it is offering to download safari or firefox. Not live player.
Close Chrome & open either Safari or firefox & try the three step process. Of course, if you currently do not have either available, you would have to install the browser first.

OK I went to u-verse.com on safari & clicked live TV & got the three icons & signed in & clicked install plug-in icon & got a multistep process
a java step
install plug-in
two check boxes

So, that does not help you. But, that is what happens when it works.
I tried it on firefox & had to do the java step again & when I clicked the the next step (second install plug-in) I got no response.

ok so how do we get this to happen:

[step 3] In the pop-up please click "Allow" to proceed with the installation. This will open another pop-up.

i verified i am *not* blocking pop-ups (Shift-Command-K)

Same problem here on Windows 7 in Chrome and IE10. This is a stupid problem to have.
