I only see 37 music channels on Stingray? How do I access others?
Okay so AT&T changed it's music programming from MC Music to Stingray Music BUT:
1. WE NOW HAVE 37 STATIONS ON STINGRAY COMPARED TO 46 WITH MC MUSIC.
1. There isn't a single classical music station;
2. The "Easy Listening" station which pretends to be "relaxed & easy" throws vocals in the mix which shouldn't be there...which leads to the next point.
3. Why isn't there an all instrumental station?
5. The Smooth Jazz station ISN'T "smooth" by any stretch...the programmer needs a lesson in the difference between "smooth" jazz and standard jazz.
6. Right after the initial switch there were multiple "international" music stations and now they're gone....would it really cost AT&T that much to give their high paying HD customers a little variety?
7. More irritating than the poor music selection that you get with Stingray is the now unbelievable download time for each channel....you can't just turn from one station to another, you have to press the OK button twice and it still acts like it's an old dial-up internet system in Timbuktu....UGH

You have to click the Applications button and then click on Stingray Music. There are easily 100 channels there including classical and smooth jazz.

I don't use it and have paired down my usage of all Uverse.
The only reason I still have Uverse, is that I have a few months left on contract.
The constantly increasing bills, and poor internet, has me ready for a change.
We are getting rid of Uverse, home phone, and 24 mbps "high" speed and going to 100 mbps charter and using our Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Redbox.
Combined, our savings will be over $120/month, and we have connected and tested digital antenna for local channels, and they come in crisp and clear.
We get whole seasons of the HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime content that we watch through download for cheap, and less television, means more reading, and outdoor activities.
I personally work so much, that most weeks I don't watch 3 hours of tv, so it's foolish to pay for something that I'm not using, and when I do, it doesn't work.
Pandora, Spotify, Beats, and Milk music have way better content than Uverse ever did, and it's free with minimal commercials or commercial free for a low annual fee.

Actually, the fastest way to listen to music is to navigate to channel 500 and press OK.
Saves the hassle of using the Application button and trying to locate stingray.

Well, I have taken back what I originally stated about Stingray....once I was able to get to all the stations (see some of the answers below my original statement) it really has a ton more than MC ever did....if they could just get the buffering down to a few seconds when moving between stations it would all be great!
AT&T just needs to spread the word better about how to use Stingray, and I've seen some new info ads for it, so maybe they're getting the message! Anyway, I go to channel 531 now...and once you wait to get into the station if you don't see all the different styles of music...just hit the "back" button in the upper left corner which will take you to all the music genres.....and each one has quite a few different stations, including a lot better selection than MC ever had!

I have 10gb data plan on my phone that works way better than my supposed 24 Mbps "high speed"
uverse internet.
As far as Stingray goes, I haven't even tried it because my Internet is crap.
I only have a couple months to go before I can cut the cord with AT&T and that's exciting because I've seen what my neighbor is getting.
I was at my neighbors house, who has Charter pipeline, 100 Mbps and 3 kids were online gaming, w/chat, 2 more were watching videos on their tablets, while we had baseball game on the tv, while streaming music for everyone while we were barbecuing.
I was flabbergasted because it was working seemlessly.
If my daughter's turn on their tablets, my tv constantly quits and say tv signal lost, even when I can still see channel playing while the guide is up, but it won't play sound.
Everyone in our house is looking forward to the change.

If you have a TV problem because a Wireless device goes online, then you likely have an issue with how your network is set up in your home. Network traffic should not be affecting your IPTV performance. Normally this would happen only if you have your own wireless router or access point connected to the system improperly. If your line isn't capable of carrying the level of service you're subscribed to, then it is possible to see some issues, but that's solvable without switching.

When I first got it, the Uverse was the bomb.
No complaints whatsoever, but now it is pathetic.
Television constantly losing signal, , even in the middle of the night when the only thing connected is the tv, speeds down to 1-2 Mbps, a far cry from the supposed 24 Mbps "turbo" that I am paying for.
I am tired of the broken promises and rate increases, without signing up for a contract, which directly after I'm locked in as a customer, the service goes south.
At&t has been dropping the ball for a long time, and since the only contract I have left is my uverse for a couple more month's, I am switching everything once it's done.
As a previously stated, I spend around $400/month for cell service and Uverse, with AT&T, but obviously that doesn't mean anything, and that's Ok, we are ready to start getting what we pay for again, and are going to check out the other side of the fence.

You probably have an issue with your line. Could have been caused by weather eroding an exposed connection, a careless installer connecting someone else damaging your connection, a bad connection when a line card was replaced, a dying line card, ...
Even if you want to switch away at end of contract, there's no need to live with substandard service until then. Please click this U-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your issues. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope in the upper right hand corner of this site, next to your name and avatar) in a business day or three.
This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.
