Getting Error message ""This set top box does not match the account settings"

Just ordered a new wireless receiver for the bedroom. Installed it and now getting the following error "This set top box does not match the account settings". Service was suppose to be enabled on Monday the 4th, but I recieved the hardware early and turned it on. I've since rebooted and unplugged and tried everything to no avail. Any thoughts on how I might get this to work?

Hi @Canman187 

 

Yours should be good to go now! Could you unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and then plug it back in? It's going to ask you run an update, select "Update Now" and it will go through the standard reboot screens and Live TV will be up & running! 🙂

Sir, I too received two wireless boxes and attempted to set one of them up early. That one does not work with the same error msg as the original post that set top box does not match account settings. The 2nd wireless box ( which I installed later) works like a champ. Please adjust if possible as you did for original post
