Update

There was an issue recently where our customers were seeing "error code 0." It is now resolved as of 12/31/2018. If the issue persists, follow the steps listed in the original solution below. If you still experience the trouble, chat with us.

Hello,

So on my main wired receiver I am receiving an error message about every 10 to 15 minutes apart.  The error code says

Press BACK to try again or Exit to cancel.

If the error happens again please try back in 30 minutes.

Error code: 0 - Failed to load resource

kx: Failed to load resource

ap9: No Stream.

I have tried every simplistic measure to try and fix it.  This includes restarting my modem(three times) having a line test run for my account, restarting my reciever (three times as well).  Can someone please help?

Error code: 0 failed to load resource

kx: Failed to load resource

WebException:  Could not establish trust relationship with remote server

WebException:  The remote certificate has failed validation procedure.

Now, it would be nice since we pay over $200 a month if we didn’t have to figure out all the technical issues that just pop up with U-verse.

If you have any knowledge of a way to fix this issue, we would appreciate it.

Re: Error code: 0 failed to load resource

Hello @Mama2kktej,

It can be concerning to suddenly see the error message on your screen.  I will be more than happy to help!

After researching into this issue, I have found a great troubleshooting step.  Please reboot the Gateway and then the receivers by unplugging/plugging back in.

Please let me know if this helps! Have a great rest of the day!

Re: Error code 0

I should also note, I ahve talked with two att UVERSE help employees about this problem.  The TV Receiver model number is VIP2250, and the modem is 526bac.  The receiver does show tv through the error code message seeing as how it is transparent.  This is a major annoyance seeing as how i pay 140 a month to have a working tv that doesn't require me to call ATT every few days.

Re: Error code 0

I'm having the same issue, 5268ac gateway, 8110 dvr, and it happens anytime I change channels.  30 seconds after I'm on a new channel it pops up.

I work for AT&T and everything I know to do other than reset the dvr hasn't fixed it.  I'm betting it's a glitch att wide, but wanted to affirm your issue.

Re: Error code 0

Step one: unplug gateway and all boxes from power.  Wait 30 seconds, plug gateway back in, wait until you have broadband and service.

Step 2: plug dvr back in, wait until you have tv back again.  Verify issue doesn't appear still by changing channels and wait 1 minute to see if message appears.

Step 3:  plug remaining receivers in individually waiting for each to come up and assuring the message is no longer appearing.

This is what I'm going to do at my house.  Try at yours to see if it works.  I will let you all know my results.

Ok that seemed to work on my system.  Try that to see if it works on yours

Re: Error code 0

Add me to the list. Just started today and happening on three receivers. Did rebooting the gateway and receivers fix the problem? Thanks

Hi all,

We are aware of error code 0. You can power cycle your receiver by pressing the power button for 10 seconds or by unplugging and re-plugging the power cord to correct the error.

Re: Error code: 0 failed to load resource

This seems to occur when someone uses the U-verse app on the iPad. If more than one TV is in use you don’t know which TV will show the error. I just hit Exit and it goes away until the next time. It’s annoying, but doesn’t seem to cause any real problems. I haven’t tried rebooting the gateway and receivers since it takes so long.
