Audio / Video sync issues on NBC

Audio / Video sync issues on NBC

I am having issues with NBC’s audio and video being out of sync. Normally, the AUTO setting on my receiver does a pretty good job delaying the audio signal to match the video.  However, with NBC, the video has to be at least a 100ms in front of the audio. So the audio delay is useless.  It like watching an endless lip syncing contest. Is anyone else having this issue?

Re: Audio / Video sync issues on NBC

Evening @jbolt247!

I'm very sorry to hear you are experiencing the lip sync issue. Thank you for reaching out. I'll be happy to provide some assistance!

This audio issue can be caused by 4 different factors. Incorrect or damged cables, a problem with audio equipment, commercials are broadcast at different auido levels, or broadcast anomalies.

To ensure it is not a problem with broadcasting, check different channels. If it's just one channel, there might be a problem with the broadcast. If you have multiple receivers, check the channel in a different one.

Please be sure to check all of your cables. You want to ensure there none of them are loose or damaged. Please secure all connections.

If the issue persists, there's no need to worry, we got you covered. A great page to consult with any technical issue, is our Troubleshoot & Resolve tool.
