Tailgating and watching TV

We are already DirecTV customers and would like to watch television at our football tailgate.  Internet around most college stadiums is bad, so wondering what we need equipment wise to watch.  We already have an inverter generator and a smart TV.

Re: Tailgating and watching TV

Hey, @scottlyndsay!

Thanks for reaching out! We'd be glad to point you towards help with watching TV at your tailgate.

To watch your TV service away from home, you may want to look into satellite TV, which can be set up to take with you, either as portable equipment, or mounted directly to your vehicle.

To get your question answered, we'd recommend you speak with Winegard, a company that provides satellite TV antennas for DIRECTV. You can reach them at 866-609-9374.

Let us know if you have any questions, we're here to help!

You need a SWM slimline dish with power inserter on a sled/tripod mount and an HD HXX or HR24 receiver or a Genie.
