Rent movies

I rented a 2 day rental for a dogs journey for 5.99. I recorded it to what later on my day off. I went to watch it and it recorded the whole movie but after watching 8minutes worth the picture went black until the end. It's the end of my 2 day rental so I dont have time to rerecord. How can I get my money back or another day to rerecord it?

Re: Rent movies

I don't have AT&T DirecTV, so I have to ask...are you allowed to record rental movies on your DVR? Wouldn't that be a violation of the rental agreement? Otherwise you could just record rented movies and watch them whenever you want, making it a purchase instead of a rental.

No violation. Recording or downloading DirecTV's PPV movies only allows for a limited viewing period, usually 24-48 hours.
