boxer.pngWhy can I only view my PPV Event on a single TV?
If you are experiencing this issue, it means you have ordered the PPV event on your receiver with your remote. In order to view it on multiple TVs, you will need to order online via directv.com, the app, text , or agent This will allow you to view content on all active receivers and stream via DIRECTV.com and mobile devices. If you order via the receiver, you can only view content on the receiver where the order was placed.
 
Trouble Ordering (Error Code 731/732/733/736/777/780/781)
If you see one of these error codes, it simply means your DIRECTV receiver is having trouble placing an order with your DIRECTV remote.
To order PPV events and movies with your remote, you must be connected to the Internet or connected to a land-based phone line. If that is the case, but you are still having trouble, try doing the following:

  • Check your internet connection. You can press the dash button on your remote to check to make sure your receiver is connected.
  • Refresh your receiver.
  • Reboot your router.
  • Connect via Ethernet cable if possible.
  • If connected by phone line, check your phone connection by plugging a phone in with that connection to see if you get dial tone.
  • If getting dial tone, call us at 800.531.5000 to request a signal call back to the satellite.

If still having problems, you can order your PPV through a different method.
There could also be a billing issue preventing you from ordering. If your bill is past due, it could prevent you from ordering.
 
Blank Screen on PPV
If you notice a blank screen on your PPV only, try doing the following to resolve the issue:

  • Set your resolution on your set top box to 1080i.
  • Restart your receiver either with the red reset button or unplugging the power and plugging it back.
  • Refresh your receiver.
  • Make sure you are tuned to the right channel. (Ch 124 SD / 123 HD / 105/106 4K)
