Whenever the channel owners return the feed.
MeTV is not a nationwide channel and is mostly carried as a sub channel of a local, unless a local channel that DTV carries uses it as their main channel DTV will not carry it.

Nope, there is a clause in the TOS that states that channels and programming are subject to change at anytime, DTV may give you a credit if you call. There is nothing to figure out CBS owner removed the feed and only they know when they will return it so don't hold your breath.

Ever since we signed up for Direct it’s been one disappointment after another. Reception so unreliable, shows won’t record when they are ‘back arrowed’ and should. The 2nd tier channels are filled with worthless viewing crap and you’ve lost TWO channels locally: KPIX, SF - the CBS affiliate and KRON 4 - an independent?? How on earth do you mess up an independent that is starved for local viewers. I WANT OUT - and yes, we are ATT on everything but ready to dump them after 25 years. Terrible internet connection, can’t get more than 2 bars on my cell in my own home (Benicia, CA -NOT a podunk town). Ugh. SO done!

DTV has no control over a channels programming.
The channels owners removed the feed to DTV and they are the only ones who can return it.
Bad internet maybe why start from the beginning is not working and DTV has nothing to do with your internet service.
You have to call DTV to cancel.

I only get abc. The other 2 worked when I signed up a month ago.
I bought into this for the locals, what is this crap? DTV now pay your freakin bill like I do and fix this!!!!!

AT&T makes gobs of money off me and that's not enough? They want to cheat NBC and CBS too? Play nice! Come to an agreement with the networks. I'll bet Comcast can make me a sweet deal if you can't work it out.

We’re disappointed to see CBS put you in the middle of negotiations. We appreciate your patience while we work this out with CBS. Click here for more: tvpromise.com.

Plucked from a another forum post:
Every year these threads appear. And every year I keep wishing the carriers (cable companies and ATT) would hold their ground until the local's realize they are losing eyes for their advertising. People blame the carriers for their "greed" and not supplying "their channels" that "they are paying for".
First, they are not "your channels". ATT can do anything they want to the channel lineup as per these terms of service (8. INTERRUPTIONS, LIMITATIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE). You are paying for a TV service, not specific individual channels.
Second in this case it's the locals who are the greedy ones here asking for ever more and more money every year for something most anyone can get for free with an antenna (assuming the locals are in range - check here). And then later everyone complains of their ever increasing bills when the one of the reasons for that increase is the "Broadcast TV Surcharge". So guess who's actually paying for the locals for their greed ?we the customer
If the carriers stonewalled these locals maybe they would "blink" and put an end to this annual blackmail. But it never happens and it's just wishful thinking on my part. In reality the carriers and the locals eventually come to an "agreement" where the locals get less than they asked for (they probably asked for twice as much as they need anyhow if they truly need any more in the first place). We end paying for the bill. And it's always the carriers that are to blame. There's a lot to blame and greed to put on the carriers, but this annual negotiation crap is not one of them.
[end of rant]
