I recently got DirecTV and had my DVR hard wired into my network. I run a Linksys Velop to a switch and then to all the ports throughout the house. All the other nodes in my house are hard wired. When the DorecTV was originally set up, on demand worked fine. Just the other day, I got a message “unable to connect to network services.” I un plugged the main box and plugged it back in. I also tried just resetting it. That did not work. When I run system test, it says the DirecTV is online. When I test the network services, I get the error code 818. I looked this up online and it says “DIRECTV Error Code 818
Error Code 818 means Unable to Start Network Services.
Error Code Solution = Background services for Pay-Per-View and Interactive Services cannot start.
Ensure only one router or access point between Genie and ISP network.
how do i I fix this? I changed nothing with my Linksys network, it isn’t running in bridge mode. This is extremely frustrating. Any help would be great.

Do you have multiple receivers in your home, and are you experiencing the problem on any other receivers if so?
Also, refreshing your equipment online can help clear up many problems, so please try that, if you haven't.

I’ve tried all that. I’ve un plugged the Ethernet cable, un plugged the power cable and re plugged everything back in. When I hit the “-“ button twice, it says everything is connected. This was literally just working fine a week ago. Now it isn’t. I haven’t changed anything, we haven’t lost power or internet service since then.

I have 3 other 4K receivers in the house. This problem is on every TV. I still get that code. When I go to HBO on demand and look up movies, I get nothing. I also can not rewind a program that has the re wind arrow on it on the guide.

Thanks for providing that additional information.
Can you isolate and make sure that your DirecTV receiver is not connected to your node network, and then refresh your equipment online to see if that makes any difference?

My apologies, for the misunderstanding. Please separate it from your current Linksys Velop and Switch to see it that makes a difference and you're able to watch HBO on demand.

How do I seperate it from my Linksys Velop network? It’s the only WiFi network I have in the house. It’s currently hard wired through a switch in the house. Everything else on the network works. If I connect my receiver to my WiFi network, it still doesn’t work.

Use myAT&T or the myAT&T app to refresh your equipment. Don’t have the app? Get it now. Text and data rates may apply for download and use.
After 5 minutes, if refreshing didn’t fix the problem, try restarting your receiver. Learn how to reset your DIRECTV receiver. Hope this helps!

I have connected my receiver directly to my Spectrum modem. I’ve restarted my modem, unplugged my receiver, plugged it back in, and then did a reset. Once my guide finishes downloading, I will up date. I’ve also re set up the internet on my receiver. Now I get error code 202 when I set up my network services. I’ll try and see if I can run this test again after my guide downloads.
