Channel Interruption

I live in zip code 28160.  My ETV channel television services from WUNW channel 27 have been interrupted due to negotiation with channel owner.

 

Why have there been so many channel interruptions within the last 3 month's?  I was without my local CBS station for at least 7 weeks and just got it back?!!  I haven't seen any adjustments to my bill accordingly.

Agreements with different channels ended within months of each other. Local channels are more commonly pulling the feed to play hardball to increase rates.

 

No adjustment is required. Package only includes access to locals in general, not any specific channels gauranteed. They don't own the channels. This is why all TV providers have a Clause in their Terms of Service that channels may change at any time.

 

Though they are not obligated in any way to provide a credit, if you call to discuss the situation they might provide you one.

Both pbs Chanels are blocked for us too, haven’t been able

to find much info

Got to https://tvpromise.att.com/ and at the bottom of the page choose your TV provider (DirecTV in this case) from the drop down box and in the other one your zip code. This checks for any negotiations affecting your exact area.

I had already tried the link you advised. It wasn't connecting.. Tried it
on my husband's phone - still not connecting. That is why I tried the forum.
