You can use the Record button to record the program you are watching on full-screen live TV.
Press Record on the remote control. The message Recording appears briefly on the screen. The Recording LED on the receiver lights up and remains on while the program is recording.
The program guide displays a red dot in the grid cell for that program. The recording stops automatically at the end of the time slot shown for the program in the program guide or you can stop it by pressing Stopon the remote control.
After pressing the Stop button you will see an option to stop or continue recording. If you select Stop again the message Recording stopped will appear and the program guide will no longer display the red dot in the guide.
Through the guide you can also press the info button on a particular program and the option to record the program or set up a series recording for the program.
