No, not remove the app. Go to "settings" (the gear in the main menu), account and select log out. When you start again it will ask you to log in.
Removal and reinstallation is a common troubleshooting technique, but you shouldn't have to go that far. If just logging out and in doesn't work, you might give that a try though.

I have upgraded my Directv Now package and have logged out of the app and logged back in. New channels still not showing up. Alternative solution anyone?
