Removing Battery Backup from Gateway Uverse Router

I have a battery backup on my router that has gone bad.   The thing is I have zero need of the battery.  I don't have voice (at all) and my phones work fine when the power is out over LTE.  It looks like there is no way to plug the router directly into a power source, though without the battery.  How can I get a power brick so I can bypass the battery.  I don't need, nor want to pay for its replacement.

Thanks,
Charles

I don't know if any of these will work: http://www.att.com/equipment/accessories/power-supply-cords.jsp.  Another option might be to see if you can catch a tech in your area and ask them for one.  I've done that before when I needed a stand for my router.

The other option would be to send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team.  One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly.  Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.

They should be able to assist also.
