moving tv to another U-verse wired box
I've been told that I can't switch tvs and their wired boxes without tech doing it. This is different question. Can a tv be disconnected from its' U-verse wired box & move to another location to connect it to the U-verse wired box of a TV that died yesterday? A new tv would be set up on the disconnected box. I assume I can set up both boxes.

You can move wired and/or wireless boxes between TVs. That's often recommemed as a test if someone is not sure about a TV vs. receiver problem. You can't move the DVR since it is hard wired to the gateway.
