Remote Control codes for audio, dvd player, etc. operations no longer work.

Question

I have a home theater system for aidio and dvd as well as flash drives. They all worked when the silver RC was used but the upgrade to the S10 RC reasigned those codes were given to another company. Does anyone know how to overcome this code switch. As long as the silver RC worked there was no problem however lately certain buttons (volume, etc.) no longer work properly. No answer from Tech Support of when, if ever, this will be corrected.

I have seen posts saying silver remotes may be found at local thrift stores - goodwill, etc.

Thanks Ace for the great idea, The only thing that comes to mind is we can't be the only people with LG equipment. Give us our codes back so the new controlers will work.
