I recently purchased a Curtis LED2400A television. This TV is from Curtis International and not Curtis Mathes. The instruction manual says the TV follows NEC's universal remote code. I have the silver AT&T U-Verse standard remote. I have followed the instructions for programming the remote but none of the codes seem to work for this TV. I tried the NEC codes and I tried the codes for Sylvania and RCA since Curtis manufactures those brands too. I also tried the automatic search method for determining the code and I tried the on-screen setup help method. So far, I have not been able to get the AT&T U-Verse remote to work with the Curtis LED2400A TV.
Does anyone have a code that works?
Has anyone been able to get the AT&T U-Verse remote to work with any Curtis TV? If so, what did you do?

Thanks for the information. I only paid $149 for the TV and it is sitting in a guest room, so using two remotes may be the best solution unless a code can be obtained. I have a couple of other universal remotes sitting around the house. When I get some time, I think I will give them a try.
I am going to watch the boards to see if anyone has been able to get a Curtis TV to work with the AT&T U-Verse remote.
Thanks again for taking time to reply.

Today I purchased a Logitech Harmony 200 remote ($17.88 from Walmart). The remote was quickly programmed and tested and it is working to control the Curtis LED2400A TV and the AT&T U-verse box from the single remote.
The Curtis LED2400A TV is not in the Logitech Harmony database. it was necessary to use the remote which came with the TV to program the Harmony 200. That process is quick and painless, much better than trying to use remote codes.
So far, I like this remote so well, that I may buy a couple more of them to use in other areas of the house.
Thank you for taking time to reply to my post and thanks for the suggestion. The Logitech Harmony 200 certainly worked for me. You can't beat the price either.
