I cannot find any codes for my TV - it is a Dynex. My U-Verse remote will run the channels, but not the power or the volume. What next?

I have a Samsung TV and a seperate Samsung Sound bar. How do I program the U-verse remote to turn the TV on and off, but the volume is the sound bar. Don;t see a code for sound bar that I guess I would program under Aux.

I have programmed the u-verse to turn my Sony receiver on and off, only one of the codes work. However, it will not adjust the sound through the receiver, it adjusts the volume on the tv. I seem to remember having to do something with the cable remote previously. Please help!

dyoung78 - Rereading your post I think your request was for an HT like amplifier/receiver. not the STB. Been reading too many posts where people call the STB a receiver.
But the answer is the same - If you press the aux button the volume control will always be the Sony. No mode button & you need to press the aux button while watching to control the Sony.
How about turning everything on at once? Code - 977.
Press att/ok- 977- att- tv-dvd-aux -enter Then one power push turns everything on.

I tried every single one and none of them worked. We have just come to accept that we have to use two remotes - bummer.
